ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!
The weather was not as cold as we thought it was going to be....or was it the heat from the Hamburger Helper that kept us warm?
We had a tough course for week two. The Ski Patrol had to take 3 racers off the course on the sled, including "The Vebenator" (a.k.a. Bruce). All three racers blew out their knee.
Hopefully Bruce won't be done skiing for the season, but it looks like he is done racing for the season.
To fill the (now) two open spots we all agreed to invite Kelly and a friend of Kathryn's to join the team this year. Kelly is Bobby's girlfriend, Steve is a friend of Kathryn's

John & Larry are going to be at The Laker at 5:30 on the days they can race. If you can make it they would love to have a drink with you.
Due to Bruce's injury we stopped at a bar close to his house after the race this week. We will be at our sponsor "The Forest Laker" after the rest of our races
Bobby & Kelly won't be racing next week
